New Jersey News Editor (July 2014-present): Manage team responsible for finding and telling stories about New Jersey that matter to member organizations in the state and readers around the world, including breaking news, accountability journalism and distinctive enterprise. Work with staff throughout the AP to package stories for all platforms.

Editor (September 2013-July 2014): Worked with more than 75 journalists working in 10 states across the Northeastern United States to plan and edit content for publication on the wire for use across all platforms. Ensured that headlines and text were maximized for SEO, mobile and social.

Digital Editor (December 2012-September 2013): Planned, launched and managed daily operations of PhillyDailyNews.com. Worked with all segments of company – including editorial, marketing, circulation, sales and tech – to ensure that site met strategic goals. Oversaw Daily News’ presence on social media and led coordination between Daily News and Philly.com.

Assistant City Editor (May 2010-December 2012): Worked with editorial leadership to oversee staff of 20 reporters and columnists to create compelling and entertaining news content relevant to readers in Philadelphia, including story planning, line editing and personality management. Led creation of collaborative breaking news operation between Philly.com, The Philadelphia Inquirer and Daily News.

National News Editor/Philadelphia City Editor (September 2007 to May 2010): Oversaw news operations of daily commuter newspaper and associated website with editions in New York, Philadelphia and Boston. Worked with staff of 30 in editorial, and collaborated with sales and marketing staffs, to create print and digital content to entertain and inform more than 1 million readers daily.

News reporter (December 2005 to September 2007): Covered the city of Philadelphia with a focus on politics and government. Led award-winning coverage of 2007 mayoral race, including Best of Philly blog.

News reporter (August 2004 to December 2005): Covered the city of Chester, Pa., with focus on the Chester Upland School District.
